The presentation will discuss the intransigent protection of personal data in polycarbonate documents. It will explain the importance of all personal data protection and will display the ability of edge-to-edge DOVIDs to keep the integrity of the personal identity in the polycarbonate documents. It will emphasize the potential of large area DOVIDs to provide a base for integration of all security features used in polycarbonate documents (UV inks, OVI inks, tactile features). Finally the concept called „Set of National Identity Documents“ will be discussed in detail.
