Security challenges are increasingly regional, but also global, and have a direct impact on national security and the sustainable development of society. Some of these challenges are linked to criminal activities involving false and fraudulent identity and travel documents. Malik will present INTERPOL’s role and its response to identity and travel document fraud and will also address the current global trends and situation of currency counterfeiting.
